Now that both pieces of print work were finished, I could start the main task which in my case is a music video. As I had previously mentioned in some of my earlier posts, the song that I have chosen is 'Please Let Me Go' by Charlie Simpson, which is a slow love/break up song that features a repeated guitar melody and strong, meaningful lyrics.
I already had a few initial ideas in mind but before starting any planning I wanted to seek inspiration from existing music videos and film clips. This would ensure that my video had enough solid research and planning behind it before I started to film, as going in blind would probably result in amateur footage and wasted time, which I can't afford to do.
