To further plan the production of my final CD cover, I have created a more detailed flat plan than the one previous, to show what I need to include and where they will hopefully be placed. The image below shows the front and back covers of the CD, without a spine.
It details how I will use the ripped effect and how I will place the main text - album title and artist's name - in between the two pieces of wallpaper, where a strip appears to have been ripped off. I have carried this effect over onto the back cover with the strip that has been ripped off appearing in the same place as on the front, creating an inverted mirror image which I think will look very effective once I have started producing the final piece on Photoshop.
